School Families

Each month every adult in our building meets with a group of 12-15 students that represent all grades to work on teamwork, improve school climate, and increase students' sense of belonging. Students remain in these "School Families" for their entire careers at Anna Reynolds. Topics discussed at these meetings have included recognizing differences, eliminating bullying behaviors, and school-wide expectations.

Student Council

The goals of the Anna Reynolds Student Council are to promote school spirit, to be of service to our community, to make students more aware of the democratic process and to develop leadership qualities. Student Council representatives and alternates (grades 1-4) and officers meet every other week in the Media Center during recess time. Meetings focus on working together and gaining confidence as members of a group and as individuals.
