Dear Anna Reynolds Families, 

Please see this week’s updates/reminders below:

• Kindness Olympics - The Anna Reynolds Student Council is sponsoring a Kindness Olympics from February 2nd through February 27th.  There is a different activity each week to promote spreading kindness at Anna Reynolds.  In addition, students will be hearing three different books about Kindness and voting for the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners.  Please see this flier for more information. 

• 100th Day Coin Challenge - Students in 2nd grade are bringing in any combination of coins to reach 100 as part of their money unit.  The money will be donated to Newington Food Bank.  Students in other grade levels are welcome to participate as well.  The 100th day is currently Tuesday, February 10th.  Please see this letter from the 2nd grade team for more information.  

• School Calendar - February break for students is February 12th thru February 16th.  There will be no school on Thursday, February 12th, Friday, February 13th and Monday, February 16th. 

• PTO Events:

  • PTO Winter Events - Save the Date - This year students can choose to attend either the Sweetheart Dance or the Sports/Games Night rather than have the event be gender specific in the past.  Please see the flier for the information and dates. 

  • 4th Grade Activities - The 4th Grade Activities Committee will be meeting virtually on Tuesday, February 10th (6:00 - 7:00 PM via Google Meet Link) and Wednesday, February 11th (7:00 - 8:00 PM via Google Meet Link).
